Jasmine Mansbridge X My Crafternoons
We're delighted to announce that March's Crafternoon will be an extra special collaboration with the one and only, Jasmine Mansbridge!
Jasmine has over 17 years of experience as a professional artist, renowned for her use of colour and geometry in her compelling paintings. In recent years Jasmine has also turned her hand to mural painting, fabric design, International workshop tuition, and even designing a Food Truck and exhibiting internationally, all whilst raising a family of five and being a top-class cook and gardener. She's even published her own book for creative parents; "There's a Paintbrush In My Coffee".
Jasmine will introduce us to the art of painting, covering brush technique, colour mixing and 3D mixing and painting techniques, all of which she uses in her own work. Each participant will leave with a hand painted square creation inspired by Jasmine's signature style mixed with your own creativity and vision. Don't worry if you think you're "not creative" (I hear this every Crafternoon and am constantly amazed by what is produced), you can take inspiration from the huge canvases lining the studio walls, by the shapes and colours we will base our designs on, and encouragement from our little band of happy painters.
We will be in Jasmine's beautiful light-filled studio in her expansive garden in Hamilton, which will be filled with refreshments, good tunes and great vibes. This is the first time Jasmine has allowed a group into her personal space, so we're thrilled to be able to run this intimate little Crafternoon and learn from her expert tuition.
This workshop costs $100 per person and that includes all tools, materials and tuition, hot and cold drinks plus home-baked treats to share. We have only 10 spaces for this workshop to allow one-one-one guidance, if you'd like to be one of the lucky few then email mycrafternoons@gmail.com to book and you'll be emailed details on how to pay and exact location. If something comes up and you need to cancel you can do so up to 48 hours in advance, but later than that and it's non-refundable but you're welcome to send a friend along in your place!
